Hello,

Do you use Goodreads? I swear, as a librarian, it was my secret weapon. I couldn’t believe the depth of the reviews—people dissect plots like surgeons, point out strengths, note weaknesses, and then kindly tell you who will enjoy the book. Choosing new titles is always tricky, but choosing for a couple thousand students? That’s like juggling flaming swords while riding a unicycle. Goodreads made it possible.

As a reader, it’s still my go-to when I need something fresh. I love the lists—quirky, themed, sometimes oddly specific. “Books with dragons and tea parties”? Yes, please.

And now, as an author? It’s a thrill to see our cover art pop up and to see what people think—sometimes glowing, sometimes disapproving—it’s all part of the magic. Honest feedback matters. It shapes stories, sparks conversations, and reminds us why books matter: they connect us and keep us thinking.

Thank you to all our reviewers. Rebels of Halklyen tipped over the 200 barrier on Amazon this past week. It makes such a difference when people share what they loved.
