In 2011, while jumping on the trampoline in their backyard, mother and son, Paula Baker and Aidan Davies outlined their first book.
“Aidan always had a story going in his head. Every Lego construction was built to further that story. Thinking like the school teacher I was, I imagined him harnessing that passion to write a book. However, after we designed all the characters and I organized them into files, it was me who was hooked on the writing,” says Paula Baker.
What started out as a summer holiday project, turned into a partnership that has lasted through ten books. Over the years, they have spent hours discussing the settings, characters and conflicts, before Davies outlines each chapter and Baker writes the stories.
