I bet because today is December 13, you’re thinking that when I say the Final Countdown, I mean the countdown to Christmas. After all, there are only twelve days left. You’re probably already humming The Twelve Days of Christmas.
But I had more epic music in mind—probably John Williams’ Raiders’ March.
Here’s why:
- On Amazon.com, Rebels of Halklyen is just 2 reviews away from 200.
- On Amazon.ca and Amazon.co.uk, it’s 6 reviews away.
- And on Amazon.com.au, it’s 9 reviews away.
That may not seem like much in the grand scheme of things—particularly considering The Ruins of Gorlan (The Ranger’s Apprentice, Book 1) has 10,921 reviews. But for indie authors, 200 is a major milestone because most people don’t write reviews. Especially the kids who are our readers.
