The Hawks Trilogy Complete Collection Box Set (Rebels of Halklyen, The God Sword & The White Wolf)
About
Three books in one. A page-turning, sword-fighting fantasy adventure for middle grade and up.
Book 1: Rebels of Halklyen
A dark sorcerer, a corrupt king and a hidden village of rebels. Assassins are not always the bad guys.
It was an accident. But that matters little in Abbarkon. A duke is dead and Flint is sentenced to hang by the neck until dead. Steps away from the gallows, a mysterious jester and a black-cloaked man snatch him from his guards.
He joins the Hawks as an untrained serving boy, but under the rebels’ instruction, he becomes a master of two swords.
Prepare to be swept away in a whirlwind adventure where the line between heroes and assassins blurs. The clash of swords and magic will determine the fate of a kingdom. A spell binding tale, Rebels of Halklyen will enchant fans of Eragon and Ranger’s Apprentice, leaving you craving more of Flint’s extraordinary journey.
Book 2: The God Sword
The dwarves guard a secret. The Hawks must prove they are worthy.
The Kingdom of Abbarkon is safe. There is a new king and Martokallu is dead. Or is he? If he returns, the Hawks will need the God Sword.
In search of the fabled weapon, Flint and Fleta join the Hawks on a trek through the Dwarven Kingdom of Tsaralvia. Along the way, they discover an unsettling truth: the Protectors of the God Sword do not want them there and they will do everything in their power to stop them. If the Hawks hope to save Abbarkon, they must prove they are worthy of the blade.
Book 3: The White Wolf
The Hawks thought the war was over. A mad sorcerer, a barbarian horde and the elven army think otherwise.
Thousands of barbarian warriors from the frozen land of Nairt’kun arrive in Abbarkon’s north while an elven army prepares to attack from the south. Among the northern raiders is Venadis, a young slave girl. Her masters fear her beast-shifting magic and force her to wear an iron collar. Intent on freedom, she slips away from the blood-thirsty horde and with her healing powers, she earns a place in the Hawks.
When Flint, Fleta and the others head south on a mission to assassinate the elven emperor, she goes with them. The elves must be stopped. Will the Hawks get there in time to change the course of the war?
Mother and son authors, Paula Baker and Aidan Davies team up to tell the action-packed adventures of the Hawks. Perfect for fans of J.R.R. Tolkien’s Lord of the Rings, Christopher Paolini’s Eragon, J.K. Rowling’s Harry Potter, Darren Shan’s Demonata, and John Flanagan’s Ranger’s Apprentice.

The Hawks Trilogy Complete Collection Box Set (Rebels of Halklyen, The God Sword & The White Wolf): Assassins are not always the bad guys.
Rebels of Halklyen: The Hawks: Book One, my third read from author Paula Baker, co-written with her son Aidan Davies. A 319-page entertaining & enjoyable adventure. The book calls itself a Teen & Young Adult Sword & Sorcery Fantasy but I sat it's an epic fantasy with a hint of steampunk. “I received a Kindle copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review." The gifting of this book did not affect my opinion of it.
The God Sword: Assassins are not always the bad guys. (The Hawks Book 2), my fourth read from author Paula Baker, co-written with her son Aidan Davies. A 333-page entertaining & enjoyable adventure. “I received a Kindle copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review." The gifting of this book did not affect my opinion of it.
The White Wolf (The Hawks Book 3), my fifth read from author Paula Baker, co-written with her son Aidan Davies. A 394-page entertaining & enjoyable adventure. Epic fantasy can't be told in a single book and The Hawks series has been no exception. “I received a Kindle copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review." The gifting of this book did not affect my opinion of it. I'll read more from this author as I get them. (RIP Marley January 20, 2014 - July 24, 2018).
